    I just came back from Panama where I also saw how the native peoples live in "Comarcas" (the panamanian version of reservetions). The level of poverty is appalling and it is sad to see how their lands, most of them still in pristine condition, are being taken over by land developers and resorts for the rich local and foreign tourists.The plight of the indigenous peoples of the Americas is sadly widespread. From Alaska to Tierra del Fuego they are discriminated, ignored and relegated.Thanks, Edwin, for sharing this.
