Day 3

Markha to Hangkar, 3710m to 3900m

This day was meant to be a short day with not too much climbing and a fairly easy route but Amanda was not feeling well and we had some fairly difficult river crossing that slowed things down.?? The village of Hangkar was really only 2 or 3 houses and the most remote and isolated village so far.?? The families here spoke little to no English and had a 3 day trip of hiking and bus to get to a local market for supplies.?? When we arrived 2 or 3 families working together to make mud bricks for a new house, so I joined in.?? Working with the families and playing with the kids was really fun and interesting.??
