No WiFi in paradise

English version

When we arrived in Leh at 6:30 in the morning we were both breathless not only because Leh is located at 12,000 feet above sea level but because of the incredible beauty.?? Ladakh is a high-altitude desert home to a very large Tibetan community.?? Almost everyone here is a Buddhist and everywhere you look you see Stupas, pray flags, and temples.?? Since there is very little rain here snow runoff is collected through an elaborate system of canals that create lush green valleys with arid dry mountains all around.??

Leh may be the capital of Ladakh but that does not mean that it is a big city with lots of technology.?? It is more like a sleepy little town that only has its roads open to the outside world for 3 months of the year.?? Finding a good internet connection is difficult and Wifi is laughable. Therefore expect our post to be random and in clumps.????????
