Everyday Seur (a local package delivery service) uses the corner in front of my apartment to load and unload packages. ??It is kind of strange to me to think that a corner in the center of Barcelona is the best place to do this but never the less they are there, often blocking traffic in the process. ??It all starts before lunch when 6 or 8 of their trucks and vans show up and park. ??They eat either at a local bar or in their trucks and vans, never forgetting to have a few beers with the meal. ??Afterwards they take a nap in the front seats of their vehicles. ??Somewhere between 2 and 3 they start making noise and this is usually when I notice them. ??They start yelling and joking around while they unload one big truck and taking packages to the each individual van. ??The scene is somewhat comical (unless one of those packages is yours). ??The driver of the big truck unloads by??throwing??the packages to the other guys while they just stand around. ??They usually make no effort to catch the package and continue to stand around and make noise. ??This goes on for about 20 minutes then all of the trucks and van race off to deliver there packages. With the lack of attention paid to the job at hand I would guess a good??thief could get away with a few??packages??but I am not sure it would be worth the trouble, considering 9 out of 10 of them are full of broken content. ??Seur keep up the good work!??
